SHOUTOUT HTX
We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Rougerie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Absolutely! Interior design impacts everyone’s life through their environment. Whether it be home or office, the design has a positive or a negative influence on their emotional and psychological behavior. For example, to increase productivity we use design elements such as color, acoustics, lighting, materials, and space planning, to create a specific emotional reaction. Another aspect of how my business impacts the environment is the conscious use of sustainable solutions when designing. For example, reutilizing preloved pieces and materials gives them a continued life through the new design while telling a story. For instance, turning a vintage workbench into a bathroom sink cabinet.
VOYAGE HOUSTON
Interview with voyage houston
I am super excited to share that I have been contacted by VOYAGE HOUSTON to be included in the Inspiring Stories series. Moving from Houston to France and starting all over when it comes to my interior design career, much less in a completely different country and language has been a challenge. I hope my story inspires others to go after their dreams, no matter how difficult they may appear. The first step to success is stepping out of your comfort zone. What I do: I specialize in English-speaking design services in France and Basel, Switzerland, whether you are a native or an ex-pat moving in or investing in the servicing areas. In addition, I started an online shop called @SEEK_collection, which is a collection of home decor & summer essentials I hand-picked personally, that buyers can shop at. The products include handmade pieces, antiques, flea market finds, and unique pieces. Please read the full article link below.
As always, sending love and light to you all!
