Our clients were looking to spruce up their newly constructed home located in the suburbs of Houston. I chose durable and functional furniture pieces and fabrics to accommodate their 1 year old twin boys. To address the tall ceilings we went with a bold blue color palette along with layering oversize pieces which helped ground the space. This gave the room weight and balance, and brought together a design aesthetic that embodied the feel of a tailored home yet comfortable and cozy.
